Contando con los dedos de la mano / Counting with the hands

Como es sabido, no en todos los países se utilizan los mismos gestos para decir lo mismo. Por lo menos en China sí que se asiente con la cabeza para decir sí, igual que lo hacemos nosotros. Sin embargo, cuando llegas a un restaurante o estás regateando para comprar algo, es importante saber que aquí no se cuenta con los dedos de la misma forma. El primer día me pareció que nos estaban preguntando otra cosa, ya que a partir del 5 la manera en que ellos cuentan no tiene nada que ver. Nuestra profesora nos lo explicó en clase uno de estos días, así que ahora ya podemos entender sus gestos.



Probably you know that the body language is not the same in every country. An easy example would be the way that people in some countries in Europe knock in the table when they are applauding. In china, even the counting with the fingers of the hand is different. The first day that we went inside a restaurant and the waiter started to count in the Chinese way we thought that they were asking us for something else, not for the number of people. That is why I include this picture showing how they count. I think that it would be interesting for you; for me is crucial for survival.
